Order FAQs

Can I pay when I collect?

No, orders must be paid in full prior to the day of collection.

The easiest method is to pay online during checkout. Alternatively, you can place your order online and then pay in-person using cash or card.

In-person cash/card payments need to be made by 12pm the day prior to pickup or within 7 days of placing your order (whichever is sooner).

What should I bring to pick up my order?

Please bring your order confirmation email (just on your phone) and proof of ID when you come to collect your order.

It’s important to handle your fresh seafood correctly during your journey home, particularly in the Queensland heat. If you’re not going to eat or cook your seafood immediately, make sure your products are kept at the correct temperature for the journey. We strongly recommend bringing an esky or cooler bag with an ice brick for the trip.

For a convenient option, purchase an Agnes Water Seafood cooler bag on the website along with your seafood!

Can I cancel or amend my order?

We understand that sometimes things don’t go to plan and we’ll always do our best to accommodate any cancellations or changes. Contact us via our web form as soon as practicable.

Given the nature of our product, however, cancelled orders can impact our workflow, affect stock levels for daytime trade or result in product wastage.

Our maximum cancellation fees are as follows (as a percentage of total order or product value, not including payment processing fees):

  • 7 days or more prior to the collection window, no cancellation fee
  • 2-6 days prior to the collection window, up to 50%
  • within 48 hours, during or after the collection window, up to 100%
  • any Special Order products, up to 100%.

Payment processing fees/surcharges will not be refunded for change of mind.

What if I forget to pick up my order?

Orders will be ready for pickup anytime during the window that you selected during checkout. We understand that things don’t always go to plan so, if you are unable to collect on time, please contact us and we’ll do our best to work something out.

Given the nature of our product, we may not be able to issue any refund in the event of non-collection.

Will you always have what I ordered in stock?

We work hard to keep the website up to date. 

However, in the rare event that we do not have stock of a particular item, we will contact you as soon as practicable and arrange for a substitution or full refund.

Do you have other items?

The online selection will generally be more limited than what we have on board each day. Come down to see us in-person early in the day for the broadest selection.

I picked up my order and you gave me too much! Have I been charged extra?

Don’t worry, you haven’t been charged for any extra weight.

Sometimes we can’t find the perfect weight fillet or bug to meet an order. If that happens, we always go bigger! The amount you order is the minimum you will receive.
